Why Where Different 😎

If you're like me you spend a large portion of your day on the internet and social media, and if you're also like me you have seen multiple websites similar to this one that try to use all the marketing and psychological strategies to get you to buy their bad products for obscene amounts of money. It’s something that has become extremely common online, and over time it’s one of the biggest things that has started to annoy me about the way many brands operate on the internet.

You’ll often see a post or advertisement claiming something like “25% OFF,” but in reality they originally set the price extremely high just to make the discount look appealing. The goal isn’t to give you a real deal—it’s to trick your brain into thinking you're getting one. When you look closer, the “sale” price is often what the item should have cost in the first place. It’s a marketing strategy that relies on psychological pressure rather than honest value.

Here at Carbon & Cotton, we don’t do it that way. If you see something is on sale, it actually is. I’m not using fake discounts or inflated pricing as a marketing technique to try to push people into buying something they otherwise wouldn’t. The goal is simple: offer products at a fair price from the start, and only run real sales when there’s an actual reason to do so.

In addition, I actually want to build relationships with my customers, not just fill in bogus contact details and ignore all the messages that come in afterward. When someone reaches out, I believe they deserve a real response from a real person who cares about the brand they’re running. That level of honesty and communication is something I think has been lost with a lot of online businesses.

If you don’t believe me, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to hearing from people, answering questions, or even just talking about ideas and feedback. THAT is what we do different here at Carbon & Cotton and will continue to do forever.
